Here’s a quick video with some forms I used in second grade. Some highlights:

• Don’t feel like you have to tell a full-blown story with every form. They just need a little image to keep it engaging.

• At some point (preferably in the summer) sit down and draw a bunch of forms so you have some to pull from throughout the year. I did this page in my planner in January and I remember flipping back to that page constantly throughout the year. Learn from me and do it in your main planning book in a place you’ll be able to find later.
